   At Sherwood Industries, our success over the decades has been the direct result of hard work, innovative products, and high standards.  Since 1989, we've been developing attractive, high quality grills and heating products for home use.

 

Our Company

 

Sherwood Industries Ltd. is the manfuacturer of the Black Olive brand of grills, and is located just outside Victoria on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.  Our state of the art 75,000 sq ft manufacturing facility is home to 200 employees, using cutting edge technology to produce attractive products with the highest standards of quality.

The Black Olive line of Kamado-style grills is the culmination of decades of experience developing grills and working with pellet fuel technology.  Starting with wood burning products back in 1989, Sherwood Industries quickly expanded into the use of pellet fuels in 1990 and gas in 1993.  Among other developments, 2000 saw the introduction of the powerfully versatile Bistro BBQ line.  This experience would later help influence the development of the revolutionary Black Olive Pellet Grill, released in 2012.
